Thankgiving Sunday



Thanksgiving Sunday saw the Peterborough Petes visit the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre in Belleville. The Bulls did not let the turkey weigh them down. They came out flying to a 3-0 lead in the first period. Ryland Murray opened the scoring with assits coming from Kaiden Whitney and Sammy Longo. The second goal came only 3 minutes later. Avery Crawford lit the lamp with the help of Bowen Vallierre and Caleb Martin. Just 1 minute later it was Kaiden Whitney who scored with assists from Valliere and Crawford. The Petes scored a late goal. The first period ends 3-1.
The Bulls second period goal was brought to you by Murray with helpers from Martin and Mayer. The Petes replied with 2 goals to finish off the second stanza 4-3 in favour of The Bulls. You would think the third period proved to be the Petes. They opened the scoring with 2 unanswered goals that gave them the lead for the first time in the game. However the Bulls dug deep and Caleb Martin boosted the spirits of the fans with his comeback goal to tie the game. Grayson Jin and Connor Weido assisted. Ethan Stasko backstopped the Bulls to their second draw of the weekend. Next stop for the team is Whitby to face the Wildcats on Saturday October 15. Gametime is 2:30 p.m.
