The Belleville Bulls AA U12s are 6-0 in league play to start the season
The Bulls picked up another four points this past weekend. They have six straight league wins.
On Saturday, October 29th the U12 AA Bulls visited the North Durham Warriors. Maybe it was the long drive to Uxbridge, but it seemed that the boys needed the whole first period to get into game mode. With just 1 second left on the clock in the first period, North Durham managed to fool the Bulls with a bouncing puck and a nice tip deflection to take a 1-0 lead.
The Bulls bounced back though in the second to tie the game and then finished the period with a 3-1 lead. Then in the third, North Durham went on the power play and capitalized with the extra player to tap in a nice rebound to reduce the lead to one. But the Bulls kept pushing and scored at the 8:28 minute mark which led to a final score of 4-2.
The Bulls were back on the road on Sunday with a visit to Peterborough. Both teams looked competitive in the first period and went into the second without a goal.
In the second period the Bulls capitalized first, while the Petes came back scoring twice to head into the third with a 2-1 lead.
The Bulls certainly know how to keep pressing on from behind as they shut down the Pete's offence in the third, scored two goals, and were rewarded with a 3-2 win!
The Belleville U12 AA Bulls remain atop the league standings and have one more road game in Whitby before returning home to host Clarington on November 13.
