The Duvanco Homes U12 AA Bulls finished the month of November with a perfect record.
Despite not playing a game for two weeks, the team kept it together and picked up another four points this past weekend to remain in first place with ten wins and zero losses.
Belleville welcomed Ajax-Pickering to the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre on Saturday, November 26. It was their second meeting this season. In the previous game the Raiders managed to go up 2-0 early and didn't make things easy for the Bulls. Despite Belleville winning that one 3-2, the home fans were expecting another great battle.
But, the Bulls came out charging. They shut down the Raiders' offence, scored twice as many as last time and celebrated a 6-0 victory!
On Sunday, November 27, the Bulls welcomed the Oshawa Generals to the Family Dental Centre Arena for their first meeting this season. Again Belleville did a great job closing down access to their own net and the puck seemed to be mostly in Oshawa's end.
Belleville went up 1-0 in the first period and then netted another in the second.
Oshawa found their opportunity to get on the score sheet when they went on the power play. With the man advantage, just a couple of seconds off the faceoff a pass out front was nicely tipped in to make it a 2-1 score.
Throughout the game it seemed like Belleville had tons of scoring chances and even hit the bar twice! But they managed to get an insurance goal late in the third and finished with a 3-1 win.
