Want to Ref? OMHA Referee School Registration Now Open
Submitted By BMHA on Thursday, June 22, 2017
Thought about becoming a hockey Referee and want to give it a try? Registration for the OMHA Referee School is now open.  There are only 3 Schools in the province (one of which is in Trenton) and they fill up quickly so don't miss out, register early to secure your spot as this is the primary method to becoming an OMHA Official!

Details at:

Important Note:  Successfully completing the OMHA Referee School does not guarantee you will work as an Official for the upcoming season.  It just means you are qualified to work as an Official.  Think of it like going to University and getting your Degree, you're qualified to do the work but then have to go and find work.

Once you have completed the Referee School, you must contact your local Minor Hockey or Officials Association to inquire about how to join their Officiating Staff.  Not all Associations will have vacancies on their team so it may not be a bad idea to inquire before your register.

With respect to BMHA, we will likely have 6 spots open for new Officials in the upcoming season.
