Back to Back Wins for the Bulls
The John Harvey State Farm Insurance/Newman Oliver & McCarten
Insurance Minor Atom AE Belleville Junior Bulls get two big wins against tough competition.
Last Weekend, the Bulls took to the road to play a pair of tough matches. On riday evening they met the Northumberland Nighthawks at The Pond in Cobourg. The last contest saw the Nighthawks skate away with it, in a high scoring match-up. This time around the teams played a much tighter game defensively, with the Bulls earning a 2-1 victory. The goal scorers were Nolan Elmy and Noah Roy. Alex Black got the lone assist of the game. Nicholas Parodo was in net for the Bulls and made some very good saves all game long.
Saturday evening saw the Bulls play their toughest opponent again, as the Peterborough Petes welcomed Belleville to town. The Bulls came out focused and on a mission, playing a very tight game at both ends and skating hard the entire game. As a result, the Bulls were able to pull off their first ever victory against the Petes, 1-0, with the only goal of the game credited to Reed Andrus. Ethan Yuke came up big, early and often, to earn his second shut-out of the season. Well done boys!
