Bulls Battle Hard at Home Against Oshawa Generals
The Bulls returned to home ice to face the Oshawa Generals, a match-up that opened with quick pressure from the visiting side.
In the first period, Oshawa struck quickly with two goals to take an early lead. The Bulls answered back when Vincent set up Noah for a well-placed finish, giving Belleville some momentum. But with seconds remaining in the period, the Generals capitalized on a breakaway to extend their lead to 3-1 heading into the second.
In the second, Oshawa added another goal to start the frame, putting the Bulls in a deeper hole. Wyatt responded with a strong effort to make it 4-2 and keep Belleville within reach. In the final minutes of the period, Bennett came up with a huge save to hold the line but Oshawa managed to sneak one in with just eight seconds left, sending the game to the third with the Generals leading 5-2.
In the third, Oshawa extended their lead to 6-2 early in the final frame. The Bulls continued to battle, and Dylan buried one off a rebound created by Alex to make it 6-3. Despite the late push, the score held through the final buzzer.
The Bulls now look forward to regrouping, resetting, and getting ready for the next challenge ahead.
