U12AA Bulls fall against Kingston in a Wednesday Night Showdown
The Bulls returned back to league play this past Wednesday night in a match up against their 401 rival, the Kingston Canadians at the Invista Centre. The Canadians would take the lead early in this one and wouldn't look back. Despite a strong push from the Bulls, they would eventually lose 6-2 and give up their first loss in league play in several games. The Bulls are right back at it Friday night at home Vs the North Durham Warriors.
After an early goal, the Bulls settled into play and started to gather some momentum. The Canadians were awarded a powerplay to start the 2nd period and as the powerplay concluded, they would score their 2nd of the game to take a 2-0 lead. The Bulls would respond shortly after with a powerplay goal of their own by Griffin M-G. With the score 2-1 Canadians, penalty trouble would hurt the Bulls as they gave up 3 powerplays in the 2nd and the Canadians would score 3 to end the period.
Going into the 3rd, the Bulls kept charging and Will G would dangle into the offensive zone and find his brother, Nate G alone in front of the net and Nate would score to make it 5-2. The Canadians would find the back of the net once again to close out the game and score would end 6-2 Canadians. The Bulls get a chance to bounce right back against the North Durham Warriors at home.
