Bulls Close Regular Season Series with Home Win Over Nighthawks
The Bulls wrapped up their regular season series against the Northumberland Nighthawks with a strong 4-2 victory on home ice.
The Bulls came out flying in the first period, taking control early. Gibson opened the scoring, followed by a goal from defenseman, Mason to give Belleville a solid lead.
Northumberland answered back in the second period, scoring early and then tying the game with 9:28 remaining. The Bulls responded late in the period when Alex found the back of the net with 3:58 left, assisted by Welles, sending Belleville into the third period with the edge.
The Bulls sealed the series finale in the third period with a key goal. Vincent broke in alone and buried a shorthanded breakaway with 3:14 remaining, securing the 4-2 win.
The victory was a fitting close to the regular season series against Northumberland, highlighted by timely scoring, strong defensive play, and composure in key moments.
