Bulls Clench First Place with Big Win Over Peterborough
The Belleville Jr. Bulls capped off their final regular season home game in style, earning a hard-fought 7-4 victory over the Peterborough Petes to secure first place in the Lakeshore Division.

First Period
Peterborough came out flying, striking first with 9:09 left on the clock. They added another midway through the period on a 3-on-1 rush to take early control. The Bulls answered back when Vincent found the back of the net to shift some momentum, but the Petes regained a two-goal cushion late in the period off a fortunate bounce with 2:38 remaining.

Second Period
This period belonged to Belleville.

Alex opened the scoring for the Bulls in the period, followed by Vincent burying his second of the night off a setup from Gibson. Wyatt added to the surge with a goal assisted by Dylan as the Bulls' forecheck began to take over the game. Goaltender Jaxen came up with a huge save with 6:40 left to keep the momentum on Belleville's side.

One of the biggest moments of the game came while the Bulls were down two men. With strong offensive pressure while shorthanded, Gibson was able to take possession of the puck and score a goal with 3:52 remaining in the period, igniting the bench. Peterborough answered with one of their own, but Dylan restored the Bulls' edge by finishing a play set up by Gibson.

Third Period
Holding the lead into the third, Belleville leaned on both timely scoring and key defensive plays. Jaxen delivered another massive stop with 4:12 left to shut down any hope of a Petes comeback. Vincent sealed his hat trick later in the period, putting the finishing touch on the game and the division title.

With a 7-4 win, the Jr. Bulls officially clinch first place in the Lakeshore Division and end the season with an astounding record of 20 wins, 5 losses, and 2 ties. Including tournament play, the team's overall season record stands at an impressive 34 wins, 11 losses, and 2 ties. The team now heads into the playoffs with confidence and momentum on their side.
