Bulls Dominate Nighthawks in Game 4 of the Playoffs
The hometown crowd was treated to an explosive performance as the Bulls delivered a commanding 10-2 victory over the Northumberland Nighthawks.
First Period
The Bulls set the tone early with strong puck movement and sustained pressure in the offensive zone. With 5:16 remaining in the period, Gibson opened the scoring, giving the home side momentum heading into the second.
Second Period
The Bulls' offense erupted in the second period. Noah struck first, followed by goals from Maddock and Gibson to widen the gap. Gibson added another highlight-reel marker while killing a penalty with 3:30 remaining in the period, showcasing determination and defensive grit while extending the lead.
Third Period
Northumberland's goaltender came out sharp, making several impressive saves early in the period to slow the Bulls' attack. The Nighthawks broke through at the 11:02 mark, but the Bulls quickly regained control.
A beautiful glove save by the Northumberland goalie briefly kept the score in check before Van buried a rebound off a shot from Noah. From there, the Bulls surged again with goals from Gibson, Noah, and another from Gibson to cap his standout night.
Defensively, Jaxson delivered a huge glove save with 4:35 remaining to deny a scoring chance, though Northumberland managed a second goal after battling at the crease. Late in the game, the Nighthawks' goalie made another big stop with three minutes remaining, but the Bulls had the final word when Welles, assisted by Wyatt, sealed the scoring.
With disciplined play, relentless pressure, and timely saves, the Bulls skated away with a 10-2 victory, putting themselves in a strong position as the playoff series continues.
