On December 5th, the Novice AA team had the honour of playing a game at the Canadian Tire Centre vs. the Kingston Canadians. It was a great team game, with each line contributing to the score, our defencemen limiting Kingston chances, and Travis Reid once again shining in net. The team came away with a 5-4 win, and a memory of a lifetime. Following the Novice game, players, family and friends experienced a heart-pounding overtime win by the Ottawa Senators over the New York Islanders.
The following day our (tired) boys slugged through a tough 1-0 win over Clarington.
Congratulations to the Novice AA team for a much deserved 2 win, 4 point weekend.

CHANGING THE GAME IN YOUTH SPORT
I came across this video last month. A very powerful message about youth sports in North America. As we enter the second half of our season, I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch.

A big congratulations to Travis Reid for earning his first shutout of the year vs. Oshawa. Travis has been the backbone of the Novice AA team this year. Just like Carey Price, Travis has made huge stops in every exhibition, league and tournament games.
Congratulations Travis. We're all proud of you!
