Bulls move on to OMHA Quarters
In three straight, high-scoring games, the Bulls win the first round of the OMHA Playdowns last night (7-2).
Opening scoring for the Bulls was Tinney, unassisted at 9:49 in the first.
Following less then two minutes later after accepting a nice pass from Birchard, Conlin scored Belleville's 2nd goal.
Whitby knowing this was a do-or-die game, came back with a goal in the second, but the spread soon grew in the second. Conlin picked up another goal at 6:16, this time assisted by McLellan. Dow scored 2 goals assisted by McLellan and Mott (4:52 and 2:14). With less then a minute and half left in the second McLellan, assisted by Dow and Mott; and Rose, assisted by Rogers and Richards, sealed the Wildcat fate.
The Bulls now wait for the Pickering/Kingston series to wrap up, with games scheduled Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday if required.
In the York-Simcoe league Barrie and Newmarket start their quarter finals on February 9th.
