The Twin Property Maintenance Bantam AE Bulls played game 1 of the Lakeshore quarter finals in Clarington on Wednesday. The Bulls took an early lead with two goals in the first period. The Toros came back with two of their own in the second, followed up by a third with 5:40 left in the third period to take a 3-2 lead. Belleville tied it up with just 20 seconds left in the game, leading to a scoreless overtime and a 3-3 final. Kaleb Parkinson was solid in net for the Bulls.
Belleville goals scored by Keegan Steedman, Nicholas Hibbert and Matthew McLennan. Assists were earned by Brody Beaubien, Travis Phillips, McLennan, Jacob Donohue and Braeden Reid.
Game 2 of the series will be held Saturday Feb 15th, 7pm, at the Wally Dever before heading back to Clarington on Sunday.
