The Major Atom Weekend Roundup
The Sherman Drywall Major Atom AA Belleville Bulls were on the road to Whitby to face the Wildcats Saturday afternoon. The game saw the Bulls down by a score of 3-0 in the third period. Ryland Murray tipped Connor Sherman's point shot passed the goalie to open the scoring for the Bulls. The goal was also assisted by Kaiden Whitney. Avery Crawford brought the Bulls within 1 goal of the Wildcats. The helper was provided by Cole Anderson. With the goalie pulled and the extra attacker on the Bulls just fell a little short. The final was 3-2 in the favour of the Wildcats. Addison Cochrane was the Bulls netminder.
The Bulls played host to the Uxbridge Stars on Sunday evening.
The Stars opened the scoring in the first period. They also scored in the second period to make it 2-0. Caleb Martin opened the Bulls scoring with assists from Kaiden Whitney and Cole Anderson. Kaiden Whitney scored unassisted to make it 2-2. The Stars came back with a Third period goal. Bulls unfortunately once again fell short with the extra attacker. The final result was 3-2 for the Stars. Ethan Stasko was in net for the Bulls.
Next stop for the Sherman Drywall Bulls is November 19 when they play host to the Northhumberland Nighthawks in their only contest on the weekend.
